What is Somatics?
Somatics with Kelli Peacock returns the gentle dialogue between the body, mind and spirit with Hanna Somatic Education. HSE is a gentle, re-learning practice that uses a system of slow and gentle movements to help release habitual postural patterns that are often created from stress, repetitive motion, injury and trauma. HSE is relaxing and involves gaining an understanding of how the muscles and nervous system works together. Everything is done with a conscious intention of contracting and releasing, without force and focusing on internal sensations of the movement.

About Kelli Peacock
Kelli Peacock is a certified Hanna Somatic Educator and Yoga Instructor. She specializes in helping people reset acute and chronic muscle tension through using a neuromuscular re-learning practice. This brings more flexibility and ease back into the body. As a Somatic Educator and Yoga Instructor, she teaches movement that relieves stress and improves the body's sense of awareness. Her mission is to guide clients on how to move through energy blocks, recover from injury and use stress prevention movement. She incorporates breathwork, gentle movement, strength with alignment awareness, meditation and deep relaxation in her classes. Kelli supports her students in developing an inner wisdom on how to help themselves through deeper listening and dialogue with somatic movement.
She lives and works in Boulder Creek, CA teaching weekly at Ease Mountain Yoga. She has been in the healing field since 2000 having studied shiatsu, deep tissue, Zenbody Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy and Reichian Breathwork. As of 2019, she completed a holistic 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Dr. Juko Holiday, owner of Ease Mountain Yoga in Ben Lomond, Ca. She loves teaching, working with private clients and developing her own deeper listening skills.
